Richard Hoptroff, Managing Director
Richard Hoptroff is the founder and Managing Director of Hoptroff Ltd, a silicon foundry which designs and patents electronic watch movements for ‘future classic’ timepieces from its London base. He previously founded three technology companies in the artificial intelligence, electronics and radio communications sectors. He holds a PhD in Physics at Kings College, University of London.
Jan Quant, Finance Director
Jan Quant is the Financial Director of Hoptroff Ltd. Previously he worked in the entertainments sector as Head of Royalties for Chrysalis Records. He also co-founded Screendragon, a cloud-based Marketing Asset Management company with offices in the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands. He holds an MSc Management Science & MBA (UMIST), ACCA Accounting qualification.
Sarah Jones Hoptroff, Operations Director
Sarah Jones Hoptroff is the Operations Director of Hoptroff Ltd, responsible for global customer service. She has previously held directorships in the electronics sector as well as international consultancy roles with Arthur Andersen. She holds an MA in English from Christchurch College, Oxford University.
