Nanosecond Precision for Mission-Critical Systems
Time Suite Enterprise 4.3 offers a highly accurate time daemon with nanosecond precision, making it ideal for use in critical infrastructure that requires traceable time synchronised to UTC.
Nanosecond precision isn't just a technical achievement—it's becoming an essential requirement for industries where timing discrepancies can have significant financial, operational, and regulatory consequences.
In independent testing, our solution demonstrated sustained, uninterruptible accuracy to UTC within nanoseconds.
Key Innovations in Time Suite Enterprise 4.3
This release introduces several new features:
Boundary Clock
The Time Suite Enterprise family now includes the Boundary Clock, which not only provides system synchronisation and monitoring but is also capable of ingesting and outputting Precision Time Protocol (PTP) between different domains with minimal loss of accuracy.
This is achieved using Hoptroff's patented oscillator lock system, allowing customers to utilise their own equipment to ensure secure and accurate time across a wide range of applications and clients.
Additionally, the clock will soon be suitable for use as a Grandmaster Clock when equipped with GPS and PPS inputs.
Enhanced Hardware Timestamping
For supported Linux systems, Time Suite Enterprise now includes hardware timestamping, which enhances the accuracy of measurements between network interface cards (NICs). This allows for near-distance synchronisation with precision in the low nanosecond range, depending on the media used.
The system currently optimises for Intel-based hardware timestamping, with support for Solarflare/AMD and Mellanox/Nvidia arriving soon. Windows support is also on our near-term roadmap.
Flexible Deployment Options
Time Suite Enterprise 4.3 can be deployed as part of our Traceable Time as a Service (TTaaS) or used as a standalone software client, allowing you to connect to your own time sources. This is particularly valuable in air-gapped environments where security is paramount.
